2. What Seshh Boozers Does
Seshh Boozers is a venue-based nightlife app that helps users discover nearby bars, pubs, and clubs through short live stories. Users can browse nearby venue stories, create an account, post stories from venues, view profiles, report content, block users, and manage their accounts in-app.
3. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
We may collect:
- your display name
- your email address
- your password and authentication credentials through our authentication providers
- your profile image, if you choose to upload one
- photos and videos you upload to venue stories
- moderation-related submissions, such as reports you make about other content
- information you choose to send us when contacting support or making privacy-related enquiries
Information collected when you use our services
We may collect:
- your account identifier
- your approximate or precise location when you grant location access
- information about the venue stories you post or interact with
- basic technical and operational information needed to run the service and secure accounts
Information we do not currently use for advertising or tracking
Based on the current product implementation, Seshh Boozers does not use third-party advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics tooling, or third-party crash reporting tooling.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account
- authenticate you and keep your account secure
- show nearby venues based on your location
- let you upload, display, and manage venue stories
- show your display name and profile image on the stories you post while those stories are live
- support public profile views for live story activity
- operate reporting, blocking, and moderation features
- process account updates, such as changing your email or password
- process account deletion requests
- respond to support, moderation, and privacy enquiries
- maintain, secure, and improve the service
5. Location Information
Seshh Boozers uses location access to find nearby venues and show relevant live stories around you.
Your location is used to power venue discovery. The app's user-facing copy states that your location is not shown on the stories you post.
You can control location permissions through your device settings.
6. Public Content and Profiles
Seshh Boozers is designed around public venue stories.
If you post a story:
- your display name appears with the story
- your profile image appears with the story if you have set one
- the story may appear on venue feeds and profile surfaces while it is live
Stories are designed to remain live for up to 7 days unless they are removed earlier by you or by moderation action.
7. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation
We provide reporting and blocking tools to help keep the service safer.
If you report content, we may store the report details and use them to review and moderate content.
If you block another user, their live stories and profile content may be hidden from you in normal use of the app.
We may remove content or suspend or remove accounts where needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of our Terms.
8. Account Deletion
You can request account deletion in the app.
According to the current app behavior, deleting your account removes:
- your account
- your profile
- your live stories
After deletion, you are signed out on that device.
9. How We Store and Process Information
Seshh Boozers currently uses a cloud backend architecture that includes website hosting, authentication, file storage, and database infrastructure.
Based on the current codebase, this may include services such as:
- Amazon Cognito for account authentication
- Amazon S3 for media storage
- Amazon DynamoDB for application data
- AWS Lambda and API services for backend operations
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the service
- maintain security and moderation systems
- comply with legal obligations
- resolve disputes
- enforce our agreements
Live stories are intended to expire after 7 days unless removed sooner. Some related operational or moderation records may be retained longer where necessary.
11. Sharing of Information
We may share information:
- with service providers and infrastructure providers that help us operate the app
- where necessary to enforce our Terms or protect users
- where required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid government request
- in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or restructuring
We do not state in this policy that we sell personal information.
